About Cincinnati, OH - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Cincinnati is a southern Ohio city situated on the banks of the Ohio River. With a population of almost 300,000 people, Cincinnati is the 3rd most populous city in the state of Ohio. Cincinnati is situated in Hamilton County and currently serves as its county seat.

Cincinnati was established after a party of 26 settlers from New Jersey and Pennsylvania arrived in the area where Cincinnati is located in December, 1788. The settlement was originally named Losantiville but was renamed Cincinnati in 1790 by Arthur St. Clair, the first Governor of the Northwest Territory of Ohio. Cincinnati became known as the Queen City as it experienced significant growth in its population. Due to the city’s popularity and a strong economy, Cincinnati began earning the name Queen City and the Queen of the West by its citizens and the nickname quickly spread.

Individuals exploring Cincinnati will quickly discover there are many things to see and do in one of Midwest’s largest cities. The City of Cincinnati hosts many events for residents and visitors that range from city-wide garage sales to parades and festivals. Individuals who enjoy shopping will find there are many malls and shopping centers throughout the city that are home to high-end retailers. Cincinnati is also home to some of the best restaurants in the country. Cincinnati is also home to the Cincinnati Zoo, many museums, world-renowned parks and more.

Cincinnati experiences weather of various kinds. Summers tend to be warm and humid while winters are usually cold and wet. Although summers are short lived due to the city’s location in the upper-Midwest, residents should install central air conditioning units. The average daytime temperature high for the month of July is almost 90s degrees Fahrenheit. Central air conditioning units that are operating correctly help keep homes cool and comfortable while warm weather is present in the city.
