Harrison, Ohio is a growing U.S. city situated on the Indiana and Ohio state borders. As of 2014, Harrison had a population of about 10,400 people. The city is located in Hamilton County and is part of the Cincinnati Metropolitan Area.

Harrison was settled in the early 1800s by Revolutionary War veterans and others who were attracted to the area because of the heavily forested land and a network of rivers. The first home in Harrison was built by Othneil Looker who served as the 5th governor of Ohio in 1814. Harrison’s first streets were platted by 1810 and in 1850 the community became incorporated as a village.

Harrison hosts many annual events including the Easter Celebration, Friday Night Summer Movies, the Fourth of July Celebration and the Tuesday Night Concert Series. New Haven Center is located in the eastern portion of Harrison and is home to several nationally recognized stores and restaurants.
